windows code question?

Expand Post »
I am an IT newbie so apologies if my question is not posted in correct location or is a basic one.

My computer has Windows XP

My office computer has been recently upgraded and now when I log onto my computer a dos window opens and the followng appears.

Can some one tell me what this means is this an execution command allowing the copying of my email addresses etc.

the code is as follows:

C:\Documents and Settings\myname > xcopy F: \ EMAIL z:\my initials
/s/c/y/r

F:\EMAIL\myname.pst

Any comments would be gratefully received.

Many thanks

Re: windows code question?

Sounds like you have a batch script scheduled to run on start up.

I'd imagine that's where your emails would be archived (in outlook).
