Access and Dreamweaver

Expand Post »
I'm trying to make a log in page in Dreamweaver that can pull and store information to/from an Access database that I have in the web folder.

If someone could walk me through this that would be the best thing ever!

I've tried using ASP/Javascript as the Document Type (not sure which one to use), but then I have to set up a DNS server or a custom connection string. The only thing I can get working is a local DSN of some sample database called XTREME...

HELP PLEASE!!!~

Re: Access and Dreamweaver

Please be more specific about your problem. Are you trying to connect Access database to your web page? If so, please describe what do you want to do with the database (e.g. store user name/profile or simply log visits to that part of your web, etc)
