How to change the ‘root’ password for MySQL in cpanel?

hai, can somebody help me, how to change root password for mysql in CPANEL? i tried to put my website online, but it send message :

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/akmajuco/public_html/_class/cms_class.php on line 9

i hope someone can help me.

Most hosts don't provide an option for this (and I don't think they will allow you to use root). I think you should use the username and password as provided by them. Also, you should be able to create new users in your cPanel, then you can create your own password.
