can oracle used as knowledge base?

I will do an artifical intellegent project which is knowledge base system

My question is Can I use ORACLE database as knowledge base?

NOT a trivial project, I assure you!

With any Knowledge Base system, you would need some kind of database back end.
Oracle would be good for that, however... We (here) would be a little biased.

I know it will not be an easy project ,but actually it will be a team work and we will Participate in "ThinkQuest international Competetion"

So I need your suggestion of the best database software that i can use it for my project.

I don't know what the best DB would be.
I've been an Oracle Developer for 23 years, so... I would use Oracle.
