how to create db of correspondence in access

Hello, I'm new here, and new at using Access... grrrrrr...

To start off, I want to create a database for all correspondence, i.e. invoices, quotations, etc. etc.

1. Is it a good idea to use Access for this?

2. Any tips pleaseeee?
