Database Authentication

Hi Guys,

I was just wondering if there's a way of restricting access to the contents of a database by creating a list of users and their corresponding password. So when ever someone tries to open the database a form pops up asking for their user name and password.

You could use a macro built into the form, or the other option is to use Access user account control - if you choose this option make sure u are VERY careful and backup your database in a different location beforehand, as from past experience...you can lock urself out of the database and then have to build another!
