Web to Access conversion

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to find a good way to get information from a website into a access 2007 database.

Im thinking I should have the website write a text or xml file with the data on it and then have some program (or access itself if it can) write it to the database. Not sure if this is the right direction. At the moment im not worried about security.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Sidicus

Have the website dump some text data (tab or csv) to a share where you can link the access database (table) to the text file..

1 = from access 2007 go to External data tab > text > navigate to the file

2 = Choose the 3rd option "link to the data source by creating a linked table"

As the text file is updated so is the linked table... :)

It really is that simple

Cheers

Leo :)
