Data source to text area

I have a data source. I want the null values of my text to be printed as a new line in my text area. How can I do it?

Think of sql table

1-I am
2-null
3-good

I want it to be printed on textarea like this.

I am

good

depends on what server-side language you are using. but it should be a simple matter of replacing each "null" with a new line character.
