tool tips

Expand Post »
Hi! Is there anyway of creating a tool tip which will display an unlimited amount of text and stay displayed whilst the user hovers over an object? The alt text function doesn't seem to work in Firefox and disappears after a certain amount of time. And the title function doesn't display all the info i would like it to.

Cheers for any help.

Re: tool tips

I have that working but now it has given me the idea of having one box with alternating text depending on what link the user hovers over. I have tried doing this but I can't change the text within the box. Any ideas?

Re: tool tips

I know that there are a few versions of this at www.dynamicdrive.com - they're done in DHTML.
