I'm totally new with ajax and js...

and I know this is possible. I've created a php table page... I would like to see the page refresh everytime I insert new data to my sql database. I know I can do this using header refresh on the php page itself.. But I would love to try using ajax or Jquery ...

Anyone can give me a simple sample?
