select box using ajax and php

hi

Please help me with code or links

i have a text box,when ever some one types a letter or more ,it should search those letters from an array of values or from a mysql table and display all the values starting with value in a text box in a select box

i want it to be live using javascript and ajax

please help me with the code or links that would help me

There are loads of scripts out there - try googling 'autocomplete'. Try scriptaculous (prototype); JQuery; Yahoo! for examples. A number of other frameworks also exist. Try them in different browsers as support for certain ajax tricks vary.

i saw script,can u mail me with some modifications

i have got 4 text boxes corresponding to 4 differnt columns in d database,

wat would i modify for getting respective results in respective text boxes on filling back
