Sending SMS with PHP

Hi, I've written a small script that successfully sends an sms using individual carriers email extensions (ex. [email]1234567890@vtext.com[/email]) but I was trying to change the sender. Right now it just shows up as the server from which it was sent but I was hoping to get it to display a number of your choosing so you can actually reply to the text. Thanks for your help.

Have you tried setting the "from" mail header?
