Greetings all.

Trying to use PEAR mail to mail some results of a quiz I have designed for students, when I get the following message:

"Warning:require_once(Mail.php)[function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\results.php on line 81"

followed by

"Fatal error:require_once(function.require]: Failed opening required 'Mail.php'(include_path='.;C:\xampp\php\PEAR')in C:\xampp\htdocs\results.php on line 81"

I know I have installed PEAR. I just think my path is wrong, but I am unsure how to fix it. Any ideas? In case there is something wrong with the code, here is the code:

<?php
error_reporting (E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE);
$title = "Quiz Results";

echo "<title>$title</title>";

if (isset ($_POST['submit'])) {

   $name = $_POST['name'];

   $q1 = "1.)" . $_POST['q1'];

   $q5 = "5.)" . $_POST['q5'];

   $qp = "6.)" . $_POST['qp'];

}

if ($name == "") {

}

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

This file Mail.php is not in the same folder with the file you have posted. File must be in the same location or update to correct place where you have put it.

Thanks, so close now. Now I'm getting an error that says "Fatal error: Call to undefined method PEAR_Error::send() in C:\xampphtdocs\results.php on line 123"

any ideas on that?

EDIT: I added an if function for a smpt error to getMessage, still no luck on why its doing this.

EDIT EDIT:

Typo caused that. had smpt instead of smtp. now i get this error...gah! solve one thing find another!

"Fatal error: Class"Net_SMTP' not found in C:\xampp\php\PEAR\Mail\smtp.php line 349"

will post code as soon as i get it.

EDIT EDIT EDIT:

Here is the code for the smtp.php file:

Figured it out. You have to download the NET folder with SMPT and sockets in them. Too bad PEAR doesn't tell you that XD. Finally found the solution on another newbie developer's blog lol.
