Hi,
I have installed Netbeans IDE 7.0.1 for php application and created a demo application. When i executed the application in the browser following url

http://localhost/CSR/index.php

and error :

Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to localhost

Please help.

Have you installed a LAMP environment for testing (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP)? If not see this. If you did, was it started?

PHP will runs on Netbean's glassfish server.No need of installing LAMP .Have you installed the netbeans with php ?If not download and install netbeans with php.The project creation is similar to creating java projects.

I never used netbeans before, and was just looking at it a few days ago.

I am using Dreamweaver for all my work.

Can anyone please tell me what is the adventage of using Netbeans?
