Opinion needed in framework development

Good day, I am currently starting to use wordpress for better CMS and I wish to learn more about the framework. Any advises on what website I should refer to? I have download several framework to dig into but in the end I am still confused. Any reply is appreciated. Thanks.

im assuming you have atleast the basics of some sort of programming language,

PHP is a big start as most of the open source cms systems are written in PHP, also any cms`s you download, whether it is wordpress or joomla, will have a link for "documents" which will explain to you everything that you need in order to start a) customizing or b) using the cms.

Yes I know about how to use it and I have my confidence in php programming but the problem is that I wish to try to create a framework myself. I have referred http://smashingwp.com/tutorials/add-an-advanced-admin-panel-to-your-wordpress-theme/ but it kinda not working on my server. Any other suggested link? Anyway, thanks for helping.
