I am currently developing a small site to keep me amused in the nights I can't sleep.

I have decided to create a forum with php and sql using databases to store posts etc.

I have been experimenting with different ways of having the forums get to certain point and then cut into another page. Needless to say none have been effective.

Any basic methods of achieving this would be perfect.

Regards
Ryan Cosans

I don't want to sound like a dullard, but I really don't get the question.

What do you mean you want the forums "get to a certain point and then cut into another page" ?

I think he means he wants to implement pagination. Anyway, if you search this forum, you'll find several threads on the subject.
