Well yea, I'm a newb @ this whole web scripting thing, and I was wondering if there were any good PHP starter guides you could point me to. I've googled about 3 times, and always end up finding something that's too complicated for me right now. Alot of the MySQL stuff I pull up just confuses me, and I want to learn how PHP and MySQL interact, but I can't find any easy tutorials or guides. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. If you happen to stumble onto my website, they're not really PHP documents, just have header/footer.php, browser detection and include header/footer And yes, I can't be bothered to make a better template right now, sorry if it hurts your eyes
www.w3schools.org is the site i believe. its got alot of good stuff there. or you can go down to your local library and check out some scripting books.
When it comes to serious learning, for some reason, I just can't rely on a web site. It's never thorough enough for me. I need a book. I suggest you check out:

Look for the "Visual Quick Start to PHP" for the easiest quick start. I found it extremely simple to catch on using that book.
You will probably grow out of it quickly, but it will give you the basics you need to get cracking quickly and easily where other books are not so easy to catch on if you don't know how to do it already.
I think that the PHP documentation is very good when it comes to learning, it covers just about everything you need to know and for tha matter don't need to know.
