What is the easiest way to create a forum in intranet

I have got a solaris machine, it has got an ip address, I want to install some software (preferably PHP) on the machine so
that when I type http://ipaddress//forum/ I get a forum, which I can manage and configure then.

Just install something like phpbb just like you would on a website with a domain name.
