Hi,

I'm wondering if what I want to do is best practice or not.

We are just about to go live with a new site (built by another company) and pages of this will need to make calls to a web service which will be hosted on the same server but not necessarily the same site.

Dowsing this sound ok - thinking about security etc.

I wouldn't do that.

It really cost money unless you really make money to cover the costs.
