This is my first thread on this forum so sorry for any mistakes.

Problem 1:

I have made a webpage using html and css. But the page content shrinks when i resize window horizontally. Problem 1 ,of content shrinking, has been solved. I was using %age for my main div which was causing problems. I just want to know that should i never use %age in future or i was using it at the wrong place/content???

Problem 2:

At default zoom my webpage appears 100% OK. But when i zoom it out the whole webpage shrinks and white area appears on its right and bottom. I have attached the images for better understanding.

With regard to problem2, how do you expect it to behave?
