I'm not sure where to ask this question, as I am not sure what the project consists of. Basicaly I'm intersted in making my own email client using web technologies, and I'm unsure as to what this entails, what technologies I would require, and where I would go about seeking tutorials/lectures/articles related to the matter. Any advice, links or suggestions are appreciated.

If you want to develop your own E-mail client with Web-technololgies shift your post to software development under the Web lanuguages. I will recommend it posting it in Java.
