IE width bug for Wordpress theme

Expand Post »
Firstly: Here's my site: http://aizen.usakochan.net/

Well, I got a Wordpress theme and started messing around with it a lot. When I viewed my site in Firefox, everything was OK. When I viewed it in Internet Explorer, I noticed the bottom scrollbar was there... the width was somehow expanded. Exapanded, being it had like 10-25px more for the width BUT that extra width is empty space. Is someone able to tell me how to fix that bug?

Thanks.

Re: IE width bug for Wordpress theme

Here is the first step for you:

http://validator.w3.org/check?verbos...akochan.net%2F

Make sure it validates

http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/v...akochan.net%2F

that too.

there's a good start to getting it fixed

Re: IE width bug for Wordpress theme

I looked over both and nothing "big" was wrong. It's pretty much all ">" and/or "<" 'problems' which aren't really problems.

Re: IE width bug for Wordpress theme

Alright nevermind; I figured out that it was the footer CSS with an extra "margin-right: 15px" which caused the problem.
