CSS Boxes

Expand Post »
Hello,
I am just starting to work with CSS and wondered if there was a good way to make boxes. I found this tutorial but there are also a number of other ways I have found through Google. What method is the most standard/best? Thanks!

Re: CSS Boxes

I tend just to set borders and use padding. That is probably the easiest way to achieve a box.
I also use relative for positioning. This is because alot of my sites are dynamic, thus meaning they may have more or less content inside the box at different times. Using relative allows my layout to all ways be inline and flow.

I suggest going to www.tizag.com for css tutorials as they are very thorough about what is covered.

Many Thanks,
