You didn't read my answer. `UseVisualStyleBackColor = True` is the default. In any case, if you want to set the same base settings for a bunch of controls at design time, just select them all then set the properties. Or you can create one button with the properties you want, … Reply by Reverend Jim

The reply below is about an exit and "To avoid the infinity loop simply use a WaitHandle. To let the process be exited from the outer world use a EventWaitHandle with a unique string. Below is an example."

If you simply had a loop, then CPU should go to 100%. … Reply by rproffitt

`UseVisualStyleBackColor` is True by default. To set other properties for all buttons you could do, as an example

For Each btn As Button In GroupBox1.Controls.OfType(Of Button)()
btn.BackColor = Color.Cyan
Next

You can't change the defaults like

Button.DefaultBackColor = Color.Cyan

because default properties are read-only. Reply by Reverend Jim

That whole thread is about using Sleep() or Event Objects to work as a shared handle for signaling. :-P

Unless I missed something else in there that you would like to point out.

If that's the answer then so be it - event driven programming is fine. I do it … Reply by ryantroop

About 100% CPU use in a loop. That's not unusual at all. You do need to move to an event driven system to get rid of an infinite loop.

From my opinion your problem should be in construction of sql statement i.e.`"SELECT '#' FROM tblBasicInfo, tblAccData WHERE ID =" + Convert.ToInt32(AcNotextBox.Text)`

Use **Inner join** clause to join two tables.
You can try it

"SELECT A.ID,A.Name,.....,B.Pro FROM tblBasicInfo A Inner Join tblAccData B On B.ID=A.ID WHERE A.ID =" + Convert.ToInt32(AcNotextBox.Text) … Reply by Shark_1
