IRC Chat Network - the web-based client link brings up the DaniWeb IRC Client, but it doesn't connect.

I can confirm this; Firefox 3.0.1
We had someone try it on 3.01 earlier and they got on!! (They had one failed attempt (The same as Dave is having))

Yes, it works.
I had trouble with the entire Internet that day. Nothing would load.
I was using FF 3.0.1 and didn't have any issues.
Update: annoyingly it doesnt work for me as my university seems to block IRC?
No, the chat page is blocked for everyone (403).
Third party web-based clients can still connect fine though:
