Posts can be edited within thirty minutes of posting. After that they will only be deleted if they violate the Daniweb rules or if there is some extenuating circumstance.

I do not see such a circumstance in that thread.

I've run into the same issue. I just discovered that it says right on my assignment that I am not able to be assisted by anyone. I would think that would also include large web forums displayed publicly on the internet.

Nope, it does not violate any of our rules. I hope you can understand difference between just posting assignment and posting & submitting provided solutions... Which one is plagiarism?
