Hey guys. As many of you know, plans are in the works to reimplement the section-specific color schemes. However, I'm now wondering if that is a not so good idea. The reason is because right now we are the only purple IT site, and it would do a lot of good to our branding if we remained that way, sitewide.

On the other hand, color schemes would be a visual aid to navigation, and also help reinforce that we cover so much material - like 6 subsites to an umbrella company DaniWeb.

What do you think? Let's vote on it!

Keep it uniform, might make people move between sections more.

I'm no fan of purple myself but it's better than pink :)

Hello,

I do not see a particular gain to have color specific areas. I do however feel that colored text needs to remain functional in the new stiyle.

Yes, I gave in to colored text. You won - Keep your mouth shut about it now :-P

I personally prefer different colours for different section like what happened with second redesign of the site, just gives each section (which Dani wants to advertise as seperate sites) a unique feel.

Well, I voted no. I prefer consistency throughout the site!

I feel it must be uniform. Different colors doesn't serve much of a purpose.
