Aside from the lack of imagination in messages, how come so much rep has been given repeatedly in such a short period of time. I though you had to wait a good deal longer than a minute to give rep to the same person.

I feel sorry for dani who is striving to keep this site (her lively-hood) professional. Didn't think about that before he had his fun.

'Twas a thing of beauty to watch last night. Dani must be doing cleanup still.

Under a challenge from Josh, Rashakil wrote some code to go around repping. While I and others are temporary beneficiaries or victims, I sincerely felt this was the best bit of humor I'd seen on the web -- and watching it live was a bonus. I was laughing for hours.

[edit]And at first I was not sure on which side I'd wind up.

my rep was also boosted... my whole rep list is full with Rash saying "a man, a plan a canal... panama!"... i was boosted from 214 to 712 in a blink of an eye... i jumped from 46th place to 6th... right over Ancient Dragon...

i'm not complaining about it... but i'd rather earn my rep, than being given it out randomly...

It seems the rep rules have changed.

The old system seemed to be based on "you need to spread more rep before giving rep to xxx". Hence with a big enough pool of people to rep, you could go round the loop as many times as you like.

Now it seems to be "You cannot give more Reputation to xxx today." which would seem to stop the "rep ring" attack.

Erm, do you know what a database is. Do you know what querying a database is?

All Dani probably did was access the reputation table, do a query with rash's name in it, order by rep comment, since rash spammed individuals with the same comment over and over. And just delete all those since they will be all clustered together?
