In some of my dreams I am dating some good looking fellow that forgot to take his viagra.

In your next dream, carry a viagra with you in your purse and see what happens.

I have a couple of recurring themes in my dreams but I will stick with the positive one(s):
I am walking down a hill on a sidewalk and as i take a step, I push off with my toes and I rise into the air. My drift back to earth matches the downward angle of the hill so I am floating above the sidewalk. I can gain altitude by flapping my hands at my side. When I finally touch down, I can jump up even higher.

It is all very nearly zero-gravity-like in that I can push off on the sides of walls, roofs and trees. I like this dream very much - I like most of my dreams. I have a sleep disorder where w/o medication, I spend almost all my sleep-time in dream-state; this is very seductive because my dreams are quite science fiction like. This is also very dangerous because I do not get a lot of rest during my sleep time. Sometimes on weekends, I don't take my medication and I nap a lot.

No, I do not think this is related to the 400 lsd trips I took in the 1970s but....

Ok so last night's was really weird in a bad kinda way. Most of it is kinda fuzzy but I'll tell you the bit that I remember.

I was grown up and married to my girlfriend (which was odd because we both appeared the same age as we are now, and also I don't think I will actually marry her).

We were trying for a baby over and over again until a doctor told us I was sterile (also very weird cause we didn't actually go to see the doctor she just sort of appeared).

She said how it had to with me excessively doing a particularly thing to my body when I was younger. I remember us getting a divorce but I don't remember why exactly (another weird thing, we had our lawyers in my house, which actually looked like my bedroom, complete with computer and all). If I tell you what happened next I might probably get an infraction, but it was very weird...

Don't remember much other details that I care to share, but I woke up in goo.

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

scru,
the military used to add salpeter (sodium nitrate) to the food of soldiers to prevent wet dreams.

in world war one they put bromides in the tea to do the same thing

I float and fly a lot .. feels so good and so real! .. :$

I envy you for those dreams. I don't have them very often. Do you have an unusual diet?

No, I eat anything that tastes good. Thats not considered as an unusual diet, or is it? ..

Anyway, time to sleep. Hope i see something COOL tonight :ooh: ..

Au revoir :D

I read somewhere that eating a few slices of sharp cheese before you go to bed makes your dreams more vivid or colorful. I was hoping that you might eat some sharp goat cheese to give you the flying dreams.

what do you mean by "sharp" cheese? I would certainly like to experience this hippie style of dreaming.

I guess some cheeses get sharper in taste with aging. Cheddar cheese for instance is sold here as mild, sharp or extra sharp. You might have to google for sharp cheese.

I found this:

Cheddar was first developed by cheese makers in the Cheddar Gorge in England. Later, colonists produced Cheddar in the New World. Cheddar still ranks as the most popular cheese in the world. Sharp Cheddar is aged at least one year before packing.

I ONLY love/have milk cheese, and mozarella (for pizzas only) .. no parmigiano reggiano look-alike/smell-alike .. >_<

Dang! I only have Jarlsberg in the house - I'm going out for extra sharp goat cheddar tomorrow!

Let us know if it worked.

Someone gave me a piece of very scrumptous cake in my dream. Just as I took a bite, I woke up. Not the first time that happened.

I was (in my dream), in a pub that I go to every now and then. I was chatting to some friends and out of the corner of my eye I spot an elevator I didn't notice before. I tried to point it out to friends of mine but they were distracted by a beautiful lady who just walked in (she had a spotlight on her for some reason). Anyways I walk over to the elevator door and press the button outside it. It opens and I press another button inside. The elevator goes down for ages. Eventually it stops and I get out. I end up in an Inca temple, which is fantastically grand, golden and all. I walk around and then go up stairs (which appeared I guess. Wasn't quite as long as the elevator, guess my subconscious got bored after a few flights!), to tell my friends. I bring them down and a war begins in the temple (not between us, but the Incas which weren't there before), so we panic and want to leave but the elevator door and the stair case have disappeared but a second shaft appears on the opposite side of the room. We reach it easily enough and go up, but we end up in a lab in my building in my university...

@ my past post... Incas weren't native to Ireland, were they ;)

My sister's friend was working in a pub and was sharing a dorm or a house or something during college. Her house mate came in late one night and my sister's friend was asleep but was dreaming and asked what drink someone wanted (work dream). Then she went through the hand-maneuvers of pouring a pint for someone and passed it over her dreamed bar.

I ONLY love/have milk cheese, and ....

cream cheese*
not "milk cheese" =_= ..
thowwy ..

Sounds like a Hollywood movie. I hope it was in Technicolor too. Maybe the elevator was some kind of time machine. Is their any event you want to go back in time for?

My dream last night was goofy. I had to go to an important event, and was dressed up in my Sunday best. For some odd reason we took a shortcut through the woods and ended up at the Mississippi river. The river water was just filthy. We followed a dirt path along the river, walking for a long time, trying to avoid the many mud puddles. Everybody except me got covered with mud on their nice clothes. Then we got to the event, a funeral. The person who's funeral it was was still alive, it was me. I woke up.

>> Is their any event you want to go back in time for?
Only for grammatical reasons ;)

>> I hope it was in Technicolor too.
I hope it was too. I really do. I think it was in Stereo, but I was imagining it so I can't confirm this.

I made love with Megan Fox. That was nasty!

I hope it was in Technicolor, Stereo and Smellavision (smile).

That belongs in the "declining morals" thread, right?

In my dream I would not simply "make love" to her.

>>That belongs in the "declining morals" thread, right?
No, morals do not apply in dreams

For the Federal Morals Police "making love" is a very bad thing! Making kinky love is downright criminal. Are you sure it was just a dream?

I'll be dead if it wasn't. *chuckles*

>>In my dream I would not simply "make love" to her.

Then what would you do to her?

Last night I dreamed that I went to my old highschool and couldn't find my way out. Goofy, met all the teachers I never really liked too!

Last night I had a dream that I was in Africa and my lecturers in university were all terrorists and they were trying to find me for some reason. I was hiding in a tree with five other members of this imaginative resistance and one of the lecturers saw me, so I jumped down and knocked him out so he couldn't give away our position (I knew, somehow, that he'd wake up with amnesia), sacrificing myself for my four colleagues. When I landed I was in my room at home and so was everyone else (the tree included). To teach me a lesson one of the lecturers was going to nail my hands to my bed (or tie them to the bed, can't remember). Anyway, they got distracted by a noise in the kitchen and I jumped out the window (bungalow), climbed down the chimney (Santa-style), and somehow got into the part of the house above the indoor-ceiling but below the actual roof. I fell into my garage then and woke up (before I hit the ground, can't find the Far Side pic I'm afraid).

I had a similar dream before about secondary school but it was a full-out assault on the building. The entire student body was armed, protected to their necks and were attacking (like the beach in Private Ryan), the school. I eventually got caught and was told to go home and think about what I had done.
