History has been kind to Winston Churchill, as it usually is to those who help save the world,
-- George W. Bush.

Chirchill did lots of bad things too though.

I mean, we incinerated Dresden (then again, IMHO the Germans deserved it) and Churchill fucked up in world war 1 bigtime . Not many people know this, but its because he masterminded the Gallipoli offensive, where we tried to do a D-Day type thing in Turkey in order to get a hold on the eastern front. There was like 60% losses, with 300,000 or so dying over the course of about a week or something.

if it wasnt for all the good stuff he did in the second world war, he would probably be remembered in a negatvive light for that instead.

This quote of René should ring a bell when you are IT minded:

Divide each difficulty into as many parts as is feasible and necessary to resolve it.

[First Man:] I think, I think I am, therefore I am, I think.

[Establishment:] Of course you are my bright little star,
I've miles
And miles
Of files
Pretty files of your forefather's fruit
and now to suit our
great computer,
You're magnetic ink.

[First Man:] I'm more than that, I know I am, at least, I think I must be.

[Inner Man:] There you go man, keep as cool as you can.
Face piles
And piles
Of trials
With smiles.
It riles them to believe
that you perceive
the web they weave
And keep on thinking free.
