Hi, forum members, I'm Jim Hyde. I live on an island in Puget Sound just north of Seattle Washington. It is very beautiful here. My wife and I moved here about 6 years ago. Before that I was a contractor in Silicon Valley, building business systems using Oracle. I came up through the ranks as an Oracle developer, then went into project management and business systems architecture. Now I am parlaying that into a new role as a web developer. I'm learning php and my goal is to provide php/database development services to web designers who want to focus on their beautiful designs and leave it to others to make the gears turn in the background.
