Tech support often finds the little unfair quirks that put some individuals, and everyone else downstream of them, into unfair and unyielding situations...

Take, for instance, the young lady, new on the job, who becomes victim of an error message appearing upon her desktop PC at work. In tears, she's calling tech supprot to find out what she could've done to cause the problem; and, has been furiously attempting to follow the instructions the computer is giving her, all to no avail...

After gently calming her down and assuring her that if she still has a legible screen on her monitor to work with that she hasn't "killed it", the tech specialist is able to narrow the problem down to a badly worded error message, which she has interpreted as a command to her by her machine. She is new to this, new on the job, and terrified; and, what has appeared on her monitor in glaringly bold, capital letters, within an error message box emblazoned with a healthy "WARNING" tag, are the following words:
"TYPE MISMATCH"...
... AND SHE HAS BEEN TYPING THE WORD "MISMATCH" FOR AN HOUR WITHOUT SUCCESS...
Sometimes, these guys are real heroes...
