Wow, when I received the invite that stated Daniweb is the friendliest IT Forum on the web, I can attest that this is certainly true. A little bit about me (and there is not much), I studied SQL 2000 and became Microsoft certified literally 10 years ago. I have not used much of SQL aside from undergrad and graduate studies. So my knowledge is basic in that area, although IT related stuff is definitely my passion! I love anything SQL related, C, C++, C#, and yes, Java. I work as an IT Specialist and Business Analyst for a small private owned company. I also have a few clients for which I provide specialty work. I travel once a year to an underdeveloped or developing country and provide pro bono IT services as a small gesture to give something back to the IT community on a global scale. I am also in the final (dissertation) stage of a PhD in IT. I am so glad to be a part of this community and anything that I can do to assist anyone within my realm please by all means let me know.
