South africa is known for this--loosing in big occasions specially in world cup matches.

And I HATE them for that. They did so well on the bowling and fielding side of the game, curbing England into a low score. Then Graham Smith (I hate his guts) had to park down in his batting session as if we were playing a 5 day game. All of a sudden all our batsmen went down the drain, costing us the game!

I agree with you you Das, they seem to go into this "easy-rider" style of "Hey, we won our previous game easily, lets lay back on this one as well", costing us points. I wish they can grow up and become a real international team!

We'll have to see what's going to happen with the rest of the cup.

Well done to all the other teams that pulled of a win, India had a nice and easy one, poor Sri Lanka...

Nah, doubt it as well. England was almost on their way home, but thanks to S.A.'s "wonderfull" playing skills, they have a good chance to get there.

I think its going to get interesting from here on. India is obviously doing very well, but they also had a tie against England, so who knows.

I'm a South African, and although we are not the suggested favorites (as was the case in 2003 and 2007), I am sure that we will be able to pull it off. We are playing a first ever three spin bowlers which paid of recently against India.:)

I HAVE to brag. I thought S.A. is loosing against India, especially with Graham Smith and Jaques Kallis on a 5 day series batting streak again. Then our bottom batsmen came through and won the game with 1 ball to spare, 3 wickets in hand. WELL DON SOUTH AFRICA!!!:):):)
