Hi all,
Just a quick intro:
I'm James. I'm a musician who turned to the dark side and started coding. I started a college program back in January and dove in headfirst with VB, C++, and SQL after having no prior coding experience (they weren't offering Intro to Programming that quarter). I managed to survive it and am now just about done with object oriented C++ and (finally) Intro to programming.
Anyway, I am liken my coding so far to one of those battery operated toys that goes in a random direction until it smashes into a wall then it backs up a few inches and takes off in another random direction until it smashes into another wall... rinse repeat.
I am enjoying the experience overall and looking forward to absorbing as much as I can here and elsewhere.
