New to this, not tried many forums, do not have the patients to type much. I just ordered Win xp media and a new hard drive. This computer runs Linux vlos 1.1, and would like to know what is required to install this on this no Win. computer using 2 hard drives. My vague understanding is install vlos 1.1 onto the new drive to install drivers and install Win Media over the top of vlos 1.1. Any input. Thankyou, billymgt

I'm a bit confused as to what you mean.

If you are talking about a dual boot, of both linux and windows, you should install the windows operating system first, and then create a partition.

Once that is done install linux on that partition. Everytime you boot up you will be given a choice to boot up in either windows or linux. But you must install the windows OS first.
