Simba is Swahili for 'lion', while Bhalu (Baloo) is Hindi for 'bear'.

Here is a source for those who are not too lazy too look it up themselves when they want to know more www.google.com

This thread is here for fun, it's not a research paper, so believe it or not as you choose. And only the naive believe that references make it true.

I'm reminded of the following:

"The problem with Internet quotes and statistics is that often times, they’re wrongfully believed to be real."

— Abraham Lincoln

The truth is that 90% of the sources on the internet are wrong.

How about a reference for "noli mentula" which I just looked up. Good one.

Here is a number that hasn't changed much in the last few years:
59% of the US population 16 years and older have a job.

This also counts the 7 million part time jobs as jobs.

"Americans tend to think of their middle class as being the richest in the world, but it turns out, in terms of wealth, they rank fairly low among major industrialized countries," said Edward Wolff, a New York University economics professor who studies net worth.

Actually they rank on 19th place, below Japan, Canada, Australia and much of Western Europe.

All the jobs of making Apple's iPhone have gone to China.

The tipped minimum allows employers to pay less than the regular minimum wage to workers who customarily earn tips, assuming gratuities boost them past the current $7.25 hourly rate. The cash base was 50 percent of the regular national minimum until 1996 legislation froze the lower rate at $2.13. It now amounts to 29 percent of the full minimum, which has been raised four times since.

Legislation in Congress this year would raise the $2.13 base for the first time since 1991.

a random fact that I just learned today... William Shakespeare has only spelled out his name eight times and spelled it six different ways. This would be because during his time there was no set way to spell..no written structure. I learned that from my Englsih teacher in my class.

How about a reference for "noli mentula" which I just looked up. Good one.

You are the first person to comment on that. It's a loose latin translation of Wil Wheaton's guiding principle, "don't be a dick."

The Microsoft Board of Directos has given the new CEO Satya Nadella a pay package worth $84.3 million, making him one of the top earners in the tech industry.

News of the package comes less than a month after Mr Nadella advised women not to ask for a pay rise but to have "faith in the system".

At the end of WW2 the US never signed a peace treaty with Germany. Maybe that explains why they still have of over 80 military bases there.

Announcing targets is easy. That doesn't require any actual work or money. Meeting them is hard. Just look at our (Canada's) results meeting the Kyoto standards that we so proudly signed years ago.

A new clock based on the strontium atom is the most accurate timepiece ever invented. It is expected to keep perfect time over a five billion year period. It is so sensitive that because time passes at different rates in different places (faster at the top of Mount Everest than at sea level) even differences of a few centimeters can be detected.
