Less than an hour has passed and I think I completely my mission :p :D (of course this is done in vmware so it's easy to clean up and is completely contained in a virtual pc)...here are some screenshots showing the damage...

Btw, all those filesxx.jpg screenshots are of the ctrl+alt+del screen, showing all the background tasks running....yep...that's right...it took about 11 or so screenshots to record all the background tasks running...:D

my mission got over when i dumped Win98 back in late 2001 or early 2004, dont remember clearly

In my experience Windows 98 is one of the most stable OSs I have used. Here you can see it running over 20 user applications:

Note the inclusion of the whole Office 97 suite. Even after this happened

the system was able to recover fairly quickly. I should also point out that this machine has been on Broadband for about 6 months with no firewall or virus scanner (and before that on dial-up with no protection for over a year). Conclusion: WINDOWS 98 RULES!

But my experience with Win98 has never been so good. It crashes regularly, any error that blue screen and then what else Ctrl+Alt+Del twice of course to restart the system, and about the files in which u were working, forget about it.

I wouldnt even try to do that.....

I love Win98se :)

I luv XP, but would like to know y u luv Win98, but dont tel me that it is stable.

Hello,

The stability of Win 98 is comparable to some short-lived radioactive isotopes of Lawrencium.
