ahs anyone enlisted the help of an answering service to filter and direct IT calls when the help desk is not operational?

There are a ton of small companies that specialize and it looks like thee major phone service providers may offer such servies too,

Pretty much any answering service will be able to fill this job. The idea to keep in mind here is customer service, since people will be calling with problems that can't be handled promptly. As always, shop around. Ask questions!
