If the chimps want special rights, let them compose and submit their own writs to the judges.

That's just silly. Chimps wouldn't know who to submit the writs to.

If the chimps want special rights, let them compose and submit their own writs to the judges.

LOOOOOOOOOOOL

Heh, mental image off of this-

Judge: Baliff, swear in the witness.
*Swearing in*
Judge: Sir, for the court records, please state your full name.
-2 minutes later-
Stenographer: Let the records show that Mr. 'Ooh-eh Ahkahak' has taken the stand. Let the records show that his Honor has charged Mr. Ahkahahk with contempt of court for the flinging of the stand chair across the room. Let the records show that Mr. Ahkahak has been charged with unpremeditated assault by the court baliff, who was hit by the chair. Let the records show that the court session has now been adjourned.

then all the chimps are gonna be in zail
(zoo jail)

Wow :icon_eek: I hope they didn't get elected based on that as their platform...

That IS their only platform, though hidden behind a veneer of "animal rights" and trying to make people look guilty "we're so rich, we should do something for the poor animals".

PETA here (and similar groups) are pretty good at hiding their true agendas, get a lot of people to support their open agenda of anti-fur, anti-animal-abuse while the donations are really piped to hardline ecoterrorists.

PETA is a real PITA :)

Now tell me -- how far-fetched is the Planet of the Apes ?

visit the DNC and see for yourself...

Sad when we have to right down a law to remember to be good stewards.
