Hate paris hilton? 'Like why, why would anyone hate cute little paris, who has never done anythn to nobody'

Paris is in her own little world..

Lmao!

The judge that did this belongs in jail with her.

I wonder if she knows how bad people hate her.

I don't think people hate her, I think we all shake our heads and wonder where she lost what ever good sense she ever had.

I can't help but wonder just what her parents think of the image she has presenting to the public.

Paris Hilton... had good sense? When?
;-)

I can't help but wonder just what her parents think of the image she has presenting to the public.

I personally think it is partly their fault for who she is today.

Christina...if you re-read that post you will see that I questioned "what ever sense she ever had".

Paris's problem basically boils down to being spoiled. She couldn't believe that she had been sentenced to jail, she believes that her wealth and social status equates to impunity. But let's face the facts, she is not stupid, she does what she does because she can. Her parents are only responsible for bringing here into the world, she became the person she is all on her own. There are other people in her age group and are wealthy, but they manage to stay out of the press and out of jail.

Personally I believe that the best thing that could happen to her would be to have to serve the whole sentence in jail. A dose of reality probably won't change her attitude, but it may impress her with the fact that her wealth and social status won't keep her out of jail if she breaks the law.

come on guys. are you not overreacting just a little bit? I have a friend here whom acted just as you guys are acting now. calling her a whore and a spoiled brat and he did it before she was even sent to jail. i really wonder what he is going to say now.

please dont take this the wrong way but i believe that americans are just a tad harsh on the celebrity world. I have the world of respect for your country and twice as much admiration but really....

Sure paris should have served her full sentence but it is not as if she killed the pope or something. personnally i think that had paris stayed in jail it would have done more good to her than anybody else.

and are you guys honestly going to tell me that no other teenager in USA has ever had the same favour extended to her? let of easy for some reason? just because paris is a celebrety and some other teen is not everybody wants to crucify paris. It really was not her fault that she was born as a millionare.

quintoncoert ...Paris Hilton is a celebrity for all the wrong reasons. This woman's claim to fame consists of releasing a video of herself having sex, partying on a regular basis with other socialites, and insinuating herself into any public exposure she can finagle. This woman has no socially redeeming qualities, did it ever occur to you that perhaps we Americans are tired of seeing "celebrities" get away with what would land anyone else in jail or death row?

As for extending her a favor, a favor is when your friend give you a ride home, what is happening here is a miscarriage of justice.

send to jail? landed on death-row? O come on. Let us put things into a propper perspective, shall we? All she did was drive without a licence. If all the people who had ever driven without a licence is send to deathrow then quite a lot of us are going to be there. I have to admit that I am going to be there myself. Let us ask around and hear just how many daniwebbers have ever driven without a licence. Chances are daniweb(along with the entire internet) is going to become a ghostsite if all of those who had ever driven without a licence gets sentenced to deathrow.

And what i meant with favour was that I am pretty sure that Paris is not the first person to get out of a seventy odd day sentence for some or other reason. Unless the media is way wrong which results in me being mistaken i do believe that something called community service is very much in in America.

So maybe her daddy pulled some strings to get her out but like I said. It is not as if she shot the president or something. She drove without a licence. Tell me something. In RSA you get fined for driving without licence. Did USA did away with fines for that offence or is it just that celebrities dont get fined but rather send to jail? If that is the case then are you guys not on a dual justice system? One of the reasons that I admire America is because you guys have a real democracy and there is real justice as opposed to what we have in Africa. So unless any person who gets caught driving without a licence is send to jail I shall have to say that perhaps you guys are trying to do to celebrities what many of our politicians do to us.

And I did say that she should have finished her sentence even if only because she would have learned a measure of responsibility. But I think everybody is making way to much over a simple driving without licence issue. If it had been any Jane Doe in any street, a few people would have been bothered to have a chuckle at the "decadence that modern societyis coming to..." but that would have been it.

Uh, you must be mistaken.. Paris Hilton received a DUI-Driving Under the Influence- back in September, and she had a 36 month probation period. In that time she was stopped twice for not having a license. This certainly deserves a 90 day jail sentence as anyone else would have been sentenced to jail after the DUI charge. Paris is a drunk, a selfish brat, and a menace to society and the American celebrity life.

lol. I am almost sorry I came to the girl's defence. Besides you guys are deliberately not hearing all of what I am saying. I admit fully that she should have finished her sentence. All I am saying is that apart from the fact that she is now going to try and get away with it again no real harm was done. As I said. It is not as if she killed the president or something. But just because she is a celeb you guys are acting as if she did kill the president.

Remember my first act of defending her? It was stating(or asking. cant temember) that perhaps you guys are overreacting just a little bit.:-)

As for her being a whore. Come on. How many people in the world are not. (the same question I asked my friend who also attacked her. And he could not answer that.)

quintoncoert, either you're omitting information to bolster your argument or you are badly uninformed.

Here's a short synopsis of the events leading up to today.

"Paris Hilton pled no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving after cops arrested her on September 7 for a DUI in Hollywood. As a result, the DMV suspended her license, and a judge placed Hilton on 36 months probation, with one major condition being: to "obey all laws."

And then...

"It has been confirmed that Paris Hilton violated the terms of her probation last night when she was pulled over for driving on a suspended license, and could spend up to 90 days in jail as a result. Last night, Hilton was stopped around 10:30 PM after cops say they noticed Hilton speeding down Sunset Blvd. without headlights. Deputies then discovered she was driving with a suspended license, arrested the heiress and impounded her car."

As you can see this is not just a case of driving without a license, the DMV suspended that license for DUI and reckless driving.

I made reference to jail terms and death row, surely you are aware of OJ Simpson and Robert Blake getting away with murder, and we have yet another celebrity on trial for murder right now. Obviously Paris Hilton doesn't fit into this category...yet, but the point is that the American public is tired of celebrities making a mockery of our legal system.

No, we are not overreacting at all. Paris didn't kill the president, your right. However, like all laws in the American judicial system, there are consequences. She broke the law, she had a petty sentence that she had to pay, but she got out of it. This is why Americans are pissed off. If the judge had ordered her house arrest we would have been fine with that. But the fact is that she was ordered to serve 45 days in prison. Even the wealthy must follow the laws.

As for being a whore, as you say, (I hope it is okay to use that word in this sense, as it is true :)) she is a wealthy celebrity of which many people look up to. With wealth, power, and many people looking up to her comes responsibility. She should be responsible enough to NOT publish porn, act in a slutty manner, drink and drive, and to be a dim-witted idiot.

I know. I was just kidding.

Lol. Exactly!

She's back in jail.

:)

... not yet.. hopefully soon though

??

I thought that's what I just heard on the news...

nuh hu.. I'm watching msnbc as I lose money day trading.. and all they're talking about is Hilton. She was supposed to testify in court via phone, but they just said she is to report to court in person at 12:00 CA time.

They sent a sheriff to pick her up.. there are like 100s of people outside her house.. Paris is getting exactly what she wants.. no jail, and publicity..

Paris Hilton just ordered back to jail :)

Heck yes!
That's awesome.

whoa.. judge ordered her to serve the entire 45 day sentence in jail instead of the initial 23 days.. (minus the "5" days that she was in prison already)

Sweet.. justice has been righteously served at last!

Why did he change it back to the full 45 days after he already said it was only 23 days? I agree she should have had the full sentence to start with, but I don't think it's fair to lengthen the sentence just because the sheriff released her on house arrest against the ruling. That isn't really her fault.

The defecation has hit the rotary oscillator and the judge is feeling the heat from all angles. It's about time!

I'm not sure what the legal precedent was that allowed the judge to award her time off for good behavior...for simply showing up for her court date...but I hope that his decision to have her serve the full 45 day sentence doesn't provide her lawyers leverage to have the sentence reduced. This girl needs a reality check, and this could be the best thing that could happen to her.

Have you guys seen the picture of her in her car about to cry? I think it was used as a tactic to influence the public in a way. I saw Michael Jackson's old lawyer on TV talking about the whole Paris Hilton thing. Is he her lawyer now? He must be a good one if he got Michael Jackson off the hook.

I wouldn't be surprised if the tears were real, after all she didn't get her way.

As for eliciting sympathy...it seems that the current sentiment of the general public is that it's about time she got what she deserves.

Anyone want to make bets as to how long she will stay in jail this time????

To put things into perspective of just how much attention Paris Hilton is getting in the media check this out, one of the live networks covering her being removed from her home broke during the lull of waiting to a live report of Defense Secretary Robert Gates's decision today to cashier Marine General Peter Pace as the Joint Chiefs of Staff. This blows my mind, something as significant as this gets a foot note to the Paris Hilton show.

People care more about stuff that doesn't really matter.

Anyone want to make bets as to how long she will stay in jail this time????

Eh... I give her two days.
