My folks buy an alcoholic version called "Advokat" from Holland (it's yellow and thick). But most commonly it is non-alcoholic, and you can buy it in certain dairy outlets.

What goes around comes around. Todays "youngems" will be tomorrows "oldems".

Just finished my "K" boneless beef chuck tender steak cooked just right in the broiler, still a little red in the center. Tender enough to cut with a butter knife. Good stuff for young and old! To take care of my health I also had green beans with almonds.

I am eating Gouda cheese slices and soda crackers with my afternoon wine.

BTW, I love my beef one little rare, touch of pink in the middle.

Burned toast with bottled water.

Is that burned toast from one of your free toasters?

Just finished some orange glazed chicken on rice. To drink? A bottle of Evian water.

It was not the free toaster's fault!

I am finishing batch of mutton meatballs on noodles with tomato and olive sauce. Also have glass of "Chateau-Thierry" home made pink wine.

You know Christmas is approaching when all the espresso stands start offering eggnog lattes
