Make offers and discounts for a particular period of time. Introduce new products based upon recent trends.Better to focus on local seo in order to generate more local conversion sales. SEM can help to get targeted traffic whereas seo takes more time to generate leads.

this might just as well be a financial strategy error from your part, not related to SEO or anything else. your SEO might be perfect, but if the search results are not appealing to people, you won't sell anything.

don't just put stuff up for sale: check what it is your customers actually want to buy. add more items to your inventory if need be, have a survey asking the visitors what it is they are looking for and willing to buy. if the results of this don't match with what you're selling, than that's the problem.

you say that you have about 40 to 50 visitors a day, so it isn't so that people don't find your website, it's just that they don't find what they're looking for on your page. figure out what that is, play up unto it, and word to mouth 'll do better advertizing then anything you have so far.

I agree with this opinion.

There are many things you can do to increase sales. Look the things that make big online retailers so successful. One of the things you need to do is remember your customer. People love discounts and bargins, the also love free shipping. Create a sense of urgency or incentive for your visitor to BUY NOW. Most companies use MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price) in their favor. NO online retail store uses MSRP because the competition is too strong. Use deals to attract buyer and use MSRP in your favor. If you have a product you sell for $30 and MSRP is $49.99 and you could sell the product for $24 and still make a profit do not advertise your price minus the discout, advertise MSRP minus the disount. It is better to show the customer they are saving $25.99 than the $6 off of your price. Also FREE SHIPPING is a big deal breaker for most online shoppers. If you have to build shipping costs into a product then remember the overall goal. If you pay $16 for an item and you sell it for $26.99 that is $11 profit, if costs you $4 to ship the item it is $7 profit. $7 don't seem like much but if you have a product you pay $20 for and can sell for $38.99 that is $18.99 in profit, minus the $7 shipping fee is $11.99 in profit. Most people who shop online buy more than one item at a time so it works itself out. Remember, you are just starting out so don't be greedy, building loyal customers and getting them to come back is key. Also, create deals that are only good for 1 day. Creating a sense of urgency for the customer to buy now to get a great deal is important.

It sounds like the amount of traffic you're getting is too small to have any conclusion of the quality of the page. Go to google analytics and try to understand the source of that traffic.
Increase your traffic using paid search, social media and other advertisment.

OK, I may have totally misunderstood the question. If you are making sales and the conversion rate is at 0 then one of two things is not correctly set up on your webite.

Conversion tracking is done with a code snippet on your Order Confirmation that only tracks people who purchace a product. This is not the same as Google Analytics, it is a different code. This is, for the most part tracked from your Adwords account and is used to track paid click and conversion rates from Google. It may take 30 to 45 days for the conversion code to begian working.

Google does not track sales from other search engines or unknown traffic sources.

If I go to your website from typing in www.yourdomain .com and click a product and buy it Google does not track that in the conversion code. It only tracks traffic you pay for by placing ads on the google search engine and clicks coming from adsence ads on other peoples websites.

I hope this clears things up. Sorry for the misunderstanding in my previous post.

As your website has 40 to 50 visitors a day, it means monthly 1200 to 1500 visits. At least there should be 1 order in a month.

To clear my doubts, I believe that goals & funnel are setup in a proper way so you can measure the conversion rates. If not sure, you should first check this by placing a test order.

Do you sell products in India? If yes, then make sure that Cash on Delivery (COD) option is available on checkout page.
You should examine shopping cart funnel and see how many visitors reach to final checkout page. If none, you should first work on checkout and shopping cart page.

On product detail page, make sure clear and high-resolution product image, shipping time and product information available. You can do A/B testing on button color and Call to Action on this page.

I recommend adding a livechat operator. You could initiate chats with users and determine why they're not purchasing as well as assist them in making purchases and increasing the overall level of support. Many livechat software suites even include phone apps, so you can provide chat coverage beyond when you're just in front of the console.

Most livechat sites boast some impressive numbers for increased conversion rates once adding the livechat software.

There could be any number of reasons as to why you don't make sales. 40-50 visits a day is likely not an enough traffic to generate strong sales as a newer brand. You need to gain more visitors. If your business is targeted only to Tamilnadu, India you need to do your research and see how many possbile
customers buy the stuff you sell.

Since you're selling clothes, you need to know that women want to have what to choose from. That means that you would need to have dozens of different types of clothes with more than 100-200 individual products. Otherwise they will leave.
