   If you do these things the rest will take care of itself that is

What you should worry more about are Trust Factor and Citation Flow - aka are the sites linking to you trustworthy, and if so, how closely related in topics are they to your site? If your site is about selling fitness supplements and you're getting a link from a site that has to do with computers, it's not going to do as well.

I agree about not wasting time trying to manipulate PageRank. It was a useless idea from the get go but it still somehow seems to make many global marketing "entrepreneurs" and all the corporate shareholders very happy. Silly idea from the very start, everyone let's pump up a stupid green bar. Retarded.
