Hi, I'm thinking of buying a mac mini version 2011, but I have doubts about whether to keep it warm for so long turned on. usually my pc´s during turned on about 12 hours a day. have anybody experiences about it?
if the processor is important its a core i5 2.5 ghz

The current models Mac mini have no known heat related issues as jingda mentioned.
The aluminum body is great for getting rid of the heat and it has a more than capable fan in it.
My mini has been on for weeks on end (server) and has no issues functioning as a file, web and media server around the clock.
Of course the environment is a major factor. Keeping it in a closed room with no AC... it will probably have a hard time.
