I tried to restore my jailbroken iPad to factory settings.

I clicked on the jailbroken device with iOS7 "restore to factory settings," and now it is loading for more than 8 hours (duing night).

I was told that this was normal... but I do not believe it.

All I have is a black screen with the white circle circling.... ALL THE TIME.

Could someone please tell me if this means that my device is permanently screwed up?

Contact the "gurus" at your local Apple Store. They probably have the proper magic wand to fix this.

iPad was put into dfu mode, and then it was restored via iTunes. Many thanks to those that contributed.
