FC-PGA2 Processor

Can someone tell me the difference between a 478 pin PPGA FC-PGA2 Package, and a 478 pin PPGA processor?

FC-PGAx is Celeron, PPGA is true Pentium.
Celerons are feature limited lowcost versions, a lot slower than their true counterparts.

Good enough for desktop machines in most companies or for people who just want to browse the web and maybe write some letters, but not for highperformance games or graphics (for example).

How can it be a celeron when it is labeled a Pentium 4? here is the spec number SL6WK.

I may be wrong but all I found to be different is that the FC-PGA2 processor has an (IHS) Integrated Heatsink Spreader to assist in cooling. Oh, it's not a celeron, it's a Pentium 4 3.0GHz 512kb cache 478 pin.

I have an HP XT963 with a 1.2GHz Celeron, how can I install a 1.4GHz Pentium 3 on this computer? Do I need an adapter or can this computer use this processor as an upgrade?
