Hi

I have a Dell D620 Laptop running Windows XP Pro.

A few days ago, my computer crashed (blue screen)
when I downloaded and started using Google Earth.

Upon reboot, the screen is black -- but I hooked up an
external monitor and everything looks fine. Once in a
while the laptop screen also works, so I know it isn't
totally dead.

My Nvidia Quadro NVS 110m graphics card does not
show up in Device Manager, unless I am in Safe Mode.

In Normal Mode, all that shows is a generic "Video
Controller (VGA Compatible)" under "Other devices" --
with a yellow question mark covered with an exclamation
point to the left of the words.

I've tried all kinds of things to update the drivers for
the Nvidia Quadro NVS 110m, but nothing is working.

Please help, with clear step-by-step instructions, since
I am not at all a techie.

Sure, I can use my laptop while hooked up to my
desktop monitor -- but that basically defeats the
entire purpose of having a laptop.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Steve

..hi there!...try to re-install your video card driver..nor, try to roll back your video card driver in your laptop..if the issue still continue then you have no choice but to reformat your laptop..don't forget to back up all your datas..i hope it helps!..^_^..
