I think I might have messed up the contrast/brightness of the screen
because now the texts appears too sharp it's almost hurting my eyes
there's a button on our screen where you can adjust the colour etc and
what I accidentally did was I pressed an auto adjust button which seems
to have been the cause....so I tried to get the brightness/contrast back to
normal but the writings still appears so sharp....
is there anything I could do??

The best thing you can do is to go in and play with the settings. Look for settings like "Sharpness", "Moire Reduction" and play with those until you get what you are looking for.

Brightness and Contrast will only get you so far, after that, you need to fiddle with other display settings. What you have will really be dependant on the monitor that you own.

Most monitors have a setting called Reset or Factory Defaults or something similar. Try that.

we have a Logix monitor 154S
the settings I get when pressing the "menu" button are
Brightness, Contrast, Auto Adjust, Postion, Color, Language,
OSD Adjust and Information
I can't seem to find a reset option or factory defaults :(

and I also noticed some texts appear a bit faded... ???
