okay, so my laptop got infected with trojan viruses, and some adwares. I was able to remove the Trojans, but whatever I do, the adwares won't get removed ! I have scanned my comp with Avast, Adaware, and Trend Micro Housecall (online scanner), and removed everything they brought up. But still adwares pop up out of no where, although their not really the nasty ones, but their still annoying, and when ever i scan my computer again, it says my computer is not affected by anything. Please help me!!! i cant stand these annoying pop ups anymore! Also i am only 15 years old, so plzz bare with me. Heres my Hijack Report : Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2

Try using Spybot Search & destroy. (FREE)

‡‡Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop. Ignore the AntiVirus warnings and download it anyway because you need to run it. Wait on installation and running.

http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4

‡‡Please download following program CWSHREDDER. Wait on installation and running.

http://www.trendmicro.com/ftp/products/online-tools/cwshredder.exe

‡‡Download about:Buster and save it to your desktop. When it has finished downloading, unzip the folder to your desktop as well. You should now be left with an aboutbuster folder on your desktop.Wait on installation and running.

http://www.malwarebytes.org/AboutBuster.zip

‡‡Install and run CWSHREDDER

Close all browser windows, open cwshredder.exe then click "Fix" and let it run.

‡‡Double-click on the AbouBuster.exe icon.

Click Begin scan. Close when completed.

It is advised that you run the AbouBuster twice in a row to make sure you get all the infections.

‡‡Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it(Do this a few times until nothing shows up).

‡‡Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:

1) Restart your computer

2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8 (Repeatedly).

3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear

4) Use the up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode and press Enter.

‡‡Please run HijackThis and click "Scan". Place checks next to the following entries if still present in the code and close all browser and other windows except for HijackThis, and click "Fix Checked".

‡‡Do another scan with HiJackThis in normal windows mode and post your new log file here for final verification. Make sure it is a new log file.

Also let me know how the systems overall condition is now.

Thank you for your reply Doctor Inferno !! I've done what ever you told me but, the pop ups still are popping up, and heres my new log :

Please download Spybot Search and Destroy install it and update the program.

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html

‡‡Run Spybot Search and Destroy and do a full scan remember this is all in safe mode.

Rename the hijackthis.exe to inferno.exe

some malware might hide themselves upon seeing hijackthis.

And post your new log.

iight, I've installed and, updated Spy bot Search & Destroy. After scanning in Safe mode I got 5 new viruses listed that other antivirus wouldn't pick up, which were :

Microsoft.WindowsSecurityCenter.AntiVirusOverride (1 entry)

Microsoft.Windows.Security.InternetExplorer (1 entry)

Smitfraud-C.CoreService (1 entry)

Win32.Small.azl (2 entries)

HitsLink (1 entry),

and was able to fix them successfully, but it didn't stop the pop ups from popping up.

I also changed the name of Hijackthis to Inferno.exe, and my new Hijack logfile is:

Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2

Isn't there anything else i can do? Someone plzz help me ! Pop ups are annoying me to the point they can't !!

==Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) from http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.
- Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd, select option #1 - Search [type 1 and Enter]; a text file will appear which lists infected files (if present). It will also create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C:\ ..
Please paste the report in your next reply. DO NOT RUN OPTION 2 YET!!!

Also, there is virtually no point in running programs like CWShredder or About Buster these days. I have not seen an infection those tools were used for in a long time.

Thank you for replying !! I've done exactly as you told me, and heres the Rapport.

Hmm, that scan missed the mark, but this next scan targets the downloaders behind some of the websites that were added to your trusted zone - that seems a good place to check for the source of the scamming/popups...
==Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
from: http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Anti-Malware_d5756.html
or: http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe
=Dclick that file to install the application and ensure that it is set to update and start, else start it via the icon.
Select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan; the application will guide you through the remaining steps.
Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
Post the Notepad log [it is also saved under Logs tab in MBAM].
And then this:

Anyway Thank you very much for your help!! , and If its okay, I want to know whats a good Anti-Virus Program, I have avast, but is there anything better?

You have the VTP pack... and is/was pskill.exe a part of the package..? Combofix broke that one.. :)
I imagine you are comforatble in there, so open registry and go to these two keys and delete them:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet00x?\Enum\Root\Legacy_WUDFRDD
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet00x?\Enum\Root\Service_WudfRdd
where the x? stands for whatever controlset the keys are in....
I cannot see anything else.
Delete Vundofix and its files in C:\
Go start, run: combofix /u -to remove combofix.
May as well remove MBAM also...
Good luck out there.
[Crunchie swears by Avast.... I use AVG, but it is bugging me with a daily popup to buy it lately, and that may be enough to get me to change...]

Well, i am not really comfortable with the registry :P, but i know how to get into it, and find them in it. I seached HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet00x?\Enum\Root\Legacy_WUDFRDD
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet00x?\Enum\Root\Service_WudfRdd

up in regedit, but it said they dont exist. But other then that my comps been working fine ! :D thanks a lot for your help! dunno what i wouldve done w/o your help, and hopefully i can help others who get the same problem as me.

"my comps been working fine !"
That's all we need. Cheers.
